Is it hard to implement? I'm inclined to think it's not considering they added it as an item that will only be used by the small percentage of users who decide to go for another playthrough. It's the first time I see this mechanic in a game and I'm wondering why it's not more present. Where has this been during my first playthrough when I so longed for it? I've just finished Chrono Cross for the first time and discovered the Time Shifter item in New Game+ (for those who can't view the link, to quote the wiki: "the item is used to speed up or slow down gameplay via the L and R buttons on a PlayStation controller"). r/CoOpGaming - A community for co-op gaming r/xboxone - Xbox-specific subreddit for general Xbox news and discussion r/playstation, /r/PS4 & /r/PS5 - PlayStation-specific subreddits for general PlayStation news and discussion
