The beach in front of the lighthouse of Jandia is a well-known surf spot. There are many shops and restaurants and a 3 km long track for skateboarding, inline skating and longboarding. The neighboring village of Jandia is reached via the picturesque beach promenade. The clear blue water of the Atlantic Ocean are fantastic for swimming, snorkeling and SUP. At the wind protected beach of Morro Jable are just a few waves and no current - ideal for playing and bathing for children. From our family holiday house it takes just two minutes foot walk to the beach. Our family apartments are just 50 m from the beach. In the narrow streets, on the small beach promenade, in traditional fish restaurants and tapas bars you can still experience the real Spain. At the local beach and in the small playgrounds of the village, children of the local people play together with the children of the tourists. The people of Morro Jable are very child-friendly. Everybody knows everyone and has time for a short chat, children running laughing through the streets or playing on the beach. In the small Spanish fishing town of Morro Jable, time seems to run slower than on the rest of the island.
